The EKKO EA15A-138 semi-electric straddle stacker puts powered lift on a simple walk-behind chassis. It raises 3,300 lb to 138" at a 20" load center, while the operator moves it by hand, so the battery only works when the forks go up or down.

Forks adjust from 8.66" to 32" and the straddle legs from 35" to 51", so one stacker covers a range of pallet sizes. A 12V/120Ah battery with a built-in 12V/15A charger runs the 2.2 kW lift motor, and the mast stands 95" tall when lowered.

The EA15A-138 is the tall-mast version of the EA15A. It lifts 3,300 lb to 138" (11.5 ft), for facilities whose top beam is out of reach of a 118" stacker. The trade-off is height at rest: the lowered mast measures 95", against 85" on the EA15A, and the mast extends to 167" at full lift. Everything else carries over: forks from 8.66" to 32", legs from 35" to 51", a 2.2 kW lift motor, a 12V/120Ah battery with built-in charger and a 59" turning radius. Should I choose the EA15A-138 or the EA15A?

Choose by your racking and your doorways. The EA15A-138 lifts to 138" with a 95" lowered mast. The EA15A lifts to 118" with an 85" lowered mast. Capacity, adjustable forks and legs, the 2.2 kW lift motor and the 12V/120Ah battery are the same on both, so the decision comes down to height.

What overhead clearance does the EA15A-138 need?

Lowered, the mast stands 95" tall, so doorways and low beams on your route must clear that. At full lift the mast extends to 167". Check sprinklers, lights and ductwork in the aisle before you order, or call (888) 378-6244 and we will review your measurements.

Is the EA15A-138 self-propelled?

No. The EA15A-138 is semi-electric: lifting is powered by a 2.2 kW DC motor and travel is manual. The operator pushes or pulls it by the ergonomic handle on polyurethane wheels. That keeps the design simple and suits short moves in stockrooms, staging areas and along production lines.

How is the EA15A-138 charged?

A 12V/15A charger is built in and matched to the 12V/120Ah battery. Park the stacker, plug it in and charge; there is no separate charging station to buy or mount. Because travel is manual, the battery only powers lifting and lowering.
