EKKO · EK40TLP

About the EK40TLP

Take on steel, stone and heavy crates with the EKKO EK40TLP, the top of EKKO's LPG solid pneumatic line. It lifts 8,500 lb to 185" with 37.9" of free lift on a 70.8" wheelbase, with Cascade side shift and a pre-plumbed Shimadzu 4-way valve standard.

A Tier 4 EPA-compliant Kubota or PSI 2.4L engine rated 63 HP at 2,700 rpm runs on liquid propane and meets CARB regulations. Cascade side shift and a pre-plumbed Shimadzu 4-way valve come standard.

From the manufacturer

The EKKO EK40TLP liquid propane 4-wheel forklift is designed for all your material handling demands, warehousing and distribution. It is Tier 4 EPA compliant with a Kubota or PSI 2.4L engine that meets CARB regulations.

An enlarged operator space sits under a heightened overhead guard with wide arc-shaped front legs. A semi-suspension seat, small steering wheel, electro-hydraulic direction changing and an automobile-style combination switch improve driving comfort, and a cushion-connected, fully suspended cab absorbs vibration. A lowering damping device in the lift system reduces mast shock and the noise of loads touching down. A small turning radius keeps steering easy, and an optimized hydraulic system improves energy efficiency and lowers fuel consumption.

BUILT FOR THE JOB

The heaviest TLP in the yard

The EK40TLP is for yards where loads are dense and heavy: steel, stone, machinery crates and double-stacked materials. At 8,500 lb, it carries more than any other TLP model, well above the 7,000 lb EK35TLP, on a longer 70.8" wheelbase, 250-15 front tires and wider 5.9" forks. It lifts to 185" with 37.9" of free lift. A Tier 4 EPA-compliant Kubota or PSI 2.4L propane engine meets CARB regulations. Cascade side shift and a pre-plumbed Shimadzu 4-way valve are standard, so it is ready for an attachment on heavy, awkward loads.

WHY THE EK40TLP

ENGINEERED WHERE IT COUNTS.

8,500 lb, 185" Lift

Rated for 8,500 lb at a 24" load center with a 185" lift height and 37.9" of free lift. Forks measure 42.1 x 5.9 x 1.9 in for dense loads that would overwhelm a 5,000 or 6,000 lb truck.

Kubota or PSI 2.4L Engine

A Tier 4 EPA-compliant Kubota or PSI 2.4L engine, rated 63 HP at 2,700 rpm, runs on liquid propane and meets CARB regulations. An optimized hydraulic system is designed for lower fuel consumption.

Side Shift, 4-Way Valve

Cascade side shift lets the operator line up loads without repositioning. A pre-plumbed Shimadzu 4-way valve adds a fourth hydraulic function, ready for an attachment such as a fork positioner.

Suspended Cab, Damped Mast

A heightened, arc-shaped overhead guard enlarges the operator space. A fully suspended cab, semi-suspension seat and electro-hydraulic direction changing reduce fatigue, and a lowering damping device cuts mast shock and noise.

BEFORE YOU BUY

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE EK40TLP.

Still unsure? Call (844) 455-4327 or email support@equipmentnation.com. Real people, Mon–Fri.

How does the EK40TLP compare with the EK35TLP?

Both lift to 185" with 37.9" of free lift on solid pneumatic tires, with the same engine options, side shift and 4-way valve. The EK40TLP is rated for 8,500 lb versus 7,000 lb, on a 70.8" wheelbase and 52.9" width. Choose it when regular loads approach or exceed 7,000 lb.

What engine does the EK40TLP use?

It uses a Kubota or PSI 2.4L engine running on liquid propane, rated 63 HP at 2,700 rpm. The engine is Tier 4 EPA compliant and meets CARB regulations, and the optimized hydraulic system is designed for lower fuel consumption. Propane tanks swap quickly between shifts.

Can I add attachments to the EK40TLP?

Yes. Cascade side shift is standard, and a Shimadzu 4-way valve comes pre-plumbed, which gives you a fourth hydraulic function for an attachment. Call (888) 378-6244 to discuss clamps, fork positioners or other options for your loads before you order.

Where does the EK40TLP work best?

Its solid pneumatic tires and propane engine are built for outdoor yards, gravel, asphalt and uneven concrete, and the tires resist punctures from debris. For heavier loads on smooth surfaces, ask about the 10,000 lb EK50LP on pattern cushion tires. We can help you compare.

How long until it ships?

We confirm stock and your ship date by email within 1 business day. In-stock units usually leave the warehouse in 2–5 business days, then freight transit takes 3–7 business days.

Is shipping really free?

Yes, on orders over $500 to the 48 contiguous states (orders under $500 ship for a flat $150). You'll need a dock or forklift to unload; otherwise choose liftgate delivery (+$150).

Can I finance it?

Yes. Choose Shop Pay Installments or Affirm at checkout to spread payments out, or call us about ACH/wire for large orders.
