Shipping Address Guidelines

Multiple Shipments

Your order may arrive in multiple shipments as items become available. You’ll only be charged for shipping once—on the first shipment.

We ship through reliable logistics partners and freight carriers. Have a preferred carrier? Let us know—we can use your account. Heavy or oversized items (over 150 lbs or longer than 108”) will ship via freight. For special delivery requests or specific delivery windows, contact us for a custom quote.

Commercial vs. Residential Delivery

Our system auto-detects whether an address is residential or commercial:

  • Residential Address: Includes homes, apartments, schools, and churches—even if a business operates from the location.
  • Commercial Address: Sites with loading docks or forklift access, open during standard business hours.

Free Shipping

We offer free ground shipping on select items to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. Qualifying items will show a “Free Shipping” tag on our product pages.

Free shipping excludes:

  • Deliveries to AK, HI, PR, or remote areas
  • Expedited shipping
  • Liftgate, white glove, or inside delivery services
  • We’ll notify you if additional fees apply.

Freight Delivery Instructions

If your order ships via freight, please follow these steps when your delivery arrives:

  1. Inspect the shipment thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt.
  2. Verify everything matches your order and check for any damage or missing items.
  3. Take photos and note any damage directly on the delivery receipt—even minor damage.
  4. If everything looks good, write “Subject to Inspection” next to your signature.
  5. Report concealed damage within 3 business days.

If you receive a damaged item:

  • Refuse the shipment, document the damage, and contact us immediately.
  • Or accept with damage noted, and contact us to start a claim.

Liftgate Service

A liftgate is required for all freight deliveries without a dock or forklift access. This safely lowers your shipment to the ground but does not include moving it indoors. You can add this service during checkout.

Need inside delivery or white glove service? Contact us for a quote before delivery.

Furniture Shipments

Furniture orders may have extended lead times—typically 4 to 12 weeks, sometimes longer. We recommend ordering early to meet your timeline.

International Shipping

We do not ship freight directly outside the U.S., but we can ship to a U.S.-based freight forwarder of your choice.

You must arrange your own freight forwarder.

Once delivered to the forwarder, they are responsible for final delivery.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

To initiate a return, notify us by phone or email:

Notification must occur within 30 days of the delivery date; returns requested after this period will not be accepted.

Condition of Returned Items

Equipment must be returned in the same, undamaged condition in which it was received.

Returns of items that are damaged, modified, or missing components will be refused or subject to additional fees.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

We recommend using a freight carrier with tracking and insurance; Equipment Nation is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to our warehouse.

Restocking Fee

A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns where the product is functioning as intended.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of inspection.

Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment, minus the restocking fee and your return shipping charges.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your equipment arrives damaged or becomes defective within 30 days of delivery, contact us immediately.

In these cases, Equipment Nation will cover all freight costs for return and replacement.

Non‑Returnable Items

Custom‑built or specially ordered equipment may not be eligible for return.

Any exceptions must be approved in writing prior to purchase.
