About the EK18RF

Reach 18 ft racking from a stand-up rider with the EKKO EK18RF. It lifts 4,000 lb to 216" with 61.3" of free lift, side shifting forks and a 58.5" turning radius, so operators can step on and off quickly at busy docks and still reach the top beam.

A 48V/420Ah battery powers a German AC drive motor through a Curtis Instruments controller, with hydraulic steering, solid cushion load tires and polyurethane drive tires for smooth indoor floors. A 480V 3-phase charger is standard.

The EK18RF is for busy distribution operations that need stand-up rider speed and taller racking access. It lifts 4,000 lb to 216", or 18 ft, which is 27" more than the EK18RFL, and gives 61.3" of free lift. It uses the same 48V/420Ah lead-acid battery, German AC drive motor and Curtis Instruments controller. The 45.3" forks adjust from 9.4" to 35.6" and side-shift for accurate placement. Compared with the lithium EK18RF-Li, it costs less and carries a larger-capacity lead-acid battery.

ENGINEERED WHERE IT COUNTS.

4,000 lb to 216"

Lift 4,000 lb at a 24" load center to 216", or 18 ft, with 61.3" of free lift. Fully raised, the mast extends to 248.4", so check ceiling and sprinkler clearance.

48V/420Ah Battery Included

The included 48V/420Ah battery powers a 6 kW German AC drive motor and a 7.7 kW lift motor through a Curtis Instruments controller. A 480V 3-phase charger is standard, with 220V and 110V options.

Stand-Up Rider Design

The operator stands in the compartment with a 9.1" step-on height for fast step-on, step-off work. Hydraulic steering, a 58.5" turning radius and a 10.5 ft aisle requirement keep it nimble.

Cushion and Poly Tires

Solid cushion load tires and a polyurethane drive tire are made for smooth indoor floors. Robotically welded steel construction handles frequent impacts and direction changes on busy docks.

Should I choose the EK18RF or the EK18RF-Li?

Both lift 4,000 lb to 216" with side shift, 45.3" forks and a German AC drive motor. The EK18RF uses a 48V/420Ah lead-acid battery and costs less. The EK18RF-Li uses a 48V/350Ah lithium battery with no watering routine. Choose based on budget and how you want to maintain the battery.

How much higher does the EK18RF lift than the EK18RFL?

The EK18RF lifts to 216", or 18 ft, compared with 189" for the EK18RFL, which is 27" more. Its lowered mast is 91.8" versus 82.6". Otherwise they share the same 4,000 lb capacity, 48V/420Ah battery, drive system and forks. Choose by racking height and door clearance.

What chargers are available for the EK18RF?

A 480V 3-phase charger is standard. Optional 220V 3-phase and 110V single-phase chargers are available at extra cost for buildings without 480V service. Call (888) 378-6244 and we will confirm the right option for your charging area. The battery is included.

Can the EK18RF be used outdoors?

It uses solid cushion load tires and a polyurethane drive tire, which are designed for smooth indoor concrete. It is best suited to warehouses, distribution centers and indoor docks. For rough outdoor yards, consider a solid pneumatic forklift instead. We can help you compare.

How long until it ships?

We confirm stock and your ship date by email within 1 business day. In-stock units usually leave the warehouse in 2–5 business days, then freight transit takes 3–7 business days.

Is shipping really free?

Yes, on orders over $500 to the 48 contiguous states (orders under $500 ship for a flat $150). You'll need a dock or forklift to unload; otherwise choose liftgate delivery (+$150).
