About the EK16A-138

Work tight aisles and small stockrooms with the EKKO EK16A-138, a compact 3-wheel electric forklift that lifts 3,500 lb to 138" (11.5 ft). Standard side shift, adjustable forks and hydraulic power steering make it a capable first forklift for shops, back rooms and small warehouses.

A 24V/320Ah battery and 24V/50A charger are included. They feed a 24V AC drive motor and a 3.3 kW lift motor through a Zapi controller, on cushion tires made for flat indoor floors.

The EKKO EK16A-138 3-wheel electric forklift is designed for small aisles, limited spaces and tight budgets. It is ideal for loading and unloading trucks, loading docks, stock rooms, manufacturing floors and warehousing.

The EK16A-138 is for small businesses buying their first real forklift: stockrooms, small warehouses and shops with tight aisles and racking up to 11.5 ft. It is the lowest-priced model in the EK16A 3-wheel family, yet it still lifts 3,500 lb and comes with side shift, a Zapi controller, hydraulic power steering and a 24V/320Ah battery with a 24V/50A charger. Its 3-degree forward and 6-degree back tilt is the widest range of the lead-acid EK16A models. When racking runs taller, the EK16A-177 reaches 177" on the same chassis.

ENGINEERED WHERE IT COUNTS.

Lift 3,500 lb at a 24" load center to 138", or 11.5 ft, with 34.4" of free lift. Mast tilt is 3 degrees forward and 6 degrees back for secure travel and clean placement.

Battery and Charger Included

A 24V/320Ah battery and a 24V/50A charger come with the truck. They power a 24V AC drive motor and a 3.3 kW lift motor through a Zapi controller for smooth, efficient operation.

Tight 3-Wheel Turning

The 3-wheel layout turns in a 58.9" radius, and the 42.1" overall width suits small aisles and limited spaces. Cushion tires are made for flat indoor floors, where EKKO recommends using it.

How is the EK16A-138 different from the EK16A-177?

Both lift 3,500 lb on the same 3-wheel chassis with side shift and a 24V/320Ah battery. The EK16A-138 lifts to 138" and tilts 3 degrees forward and 6 back. The EK16A-177 lifts to 177", tilts 2 and 4 degrees and uses a 2.2 kW AC drive motor. The 138 costs less.

Can the EK16A-138 work outdoors?

EKKO recommends it for indoor use on flat surfaces. The cushion tires and 3-wheel layout are built for smooth concrete in warehouses, stockrooms and plants. For yards or rough ground, a solid pneumatic model is the better fit. Call (888) 378-6244 and we will suggest one.

How much clearance does the EK16A-138 need?

With the forks down, the mast stands 86.6" tall, and the truck is 42.1" wide and 107.1" long. It turns in a 58.9" radius. At full lift the forks reach 138", so check ceiling and light clearance at the top of the lift. Send us your measurements and we will confirm the fit.

What comes with the EK16A-138?
